Company Profile
Ark Electric is a locally owned and operated electrical business based in Northfield, NH. With years of hands-on experience, we specialize in residential and light commercial work — from lighting upgrades and wiring repairs to generator installs and code compliance.
The company was founded by Ed, whose passion for electrical work started during his junior year at Pinkerton Academy in Derry, NH. After high school, Ed worked for BAE Systems in general electrical and facility maintenance for four years before launching Ark Electric, LLC in 2016.
In 2021, Ed became the electrical inspector for Salem, NH, while also working with Best Electric, serving numerous asphalt plants across New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Vermont. By 2022, he decided to dedicate himself fully to Ark Electric — a business that continues to grow under his leadership and now includes a team of dedicated electricians serving clients across New England.
Beyond the business, Ed is a committed father and family man, with two children — Noah and Hannah — and five stepchildren — Jake, Lila, Isabella, Sophia, and Everly. He’s active in his church community and passionate about teaching and mentoring. Ed is currently training his stepson Jake as an electrician’s apprentice.
He also gives back in meaningful ways, volunteering his trade in disaster-struck areas. After Hurricane Helene, Ed and his family traveled to Western North Carolina, where they spent 11 days helping restore power, assist with search and rescue, and provide medical resources to stranded families.
